What a privilege it was to be part of Australia's first ever Pride Cruise! We swam, we ate, we partied at kids club and joined in the entertainment on board! So come with me and check out our weekend on board P&O Pacific Adventure!

Flying through security was a breeze and we boarded full of excitement to check out every

deck! First stop was our room - We had a balcony cabin on deck 12, with 2 adults and 2 children we had 2 sets of bunks. The room was not huge but plenty of room to unpack, store bags and move around.

Next stop where else but the buffet! There are 2 restaurants to enjoy breakfast and lunch and then another 2 restaurants to enjoy dinner. All food at these restaurants are included in the cruise price - there are some speciality restaurants but sadly they were not in operation during our cruise. There is also a kids menu on board which is the same no matter which restaurant you go to.

First thing is a swim of course and a visit by Freddie Merkin himself!

Day 1 and kids club is open from 6pm so after dinner of course we went to check it out! They have a great kids program daily and lots of fun activities. The girls had a ball with their own parties - PJ theme one night, Great Gatsby another. They would wake up begging to go straight to kids club!

Day 2 and we after a great night sleep - the beds and pillows are so comfy! We were in the full swing of cruising.. kids into kids club it was time to check out the activities. First stop ship trivia with the cruise director! With early morning cocktails of course :)

Next was a walk around check out the outside pool areas and check out the pool party in full swing!

That afternoon we spent some time relaxing on our balcony watching a pod of dolphins join us and say hi jumping in the water.. It was truly relaxing to just watch the world go by. Such a wonderful way to holiday, only unpacking once, sit back and relax and breath in the fresh air.

This was the view from our room

Day 3 and it was more swimming, more cocktails, more kids club and more relax time! This afternoon the kids enjoyed story time with WonderMumma and in the evening us adults had a studio 54 dress up party in the atrium after dark which was a lot of fun with some great tunes!

Day Four and we were all sad to have to disembark and go back to reality again... We had the best time, the staff were so lovely, the kids has a blast and we will be back!!

Until next time P&O!
